Hemet Fire provides truck to pick up toys for local children

December 29, 2014

Hemet Fire Captain Skip Irland brought out the fire truck purchased by the Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians in their partnership with Central County United Way's Santa's Workshop to pick up toys donated by Soboba Casino last weekend. Over 800 toys were donated to the workshop that will aid in providing over 1,100 local children with a new toy for Christmas. Also on hand was the Animal Control Division of Ramona Humane Society, president of United Way, Bob Duistermars, United Way event coordinator Kayla Curry, Soboba Foundation director Andrew Vallejos, and Priscilla Frank.
