Mardi Gras Madness at the Monroe County Museum
March 1, 2019
For many Western Christians, the period of time between Epiphany and Ash Wednesday is known as "Carnival" and is marked by events such as parades, public celebrations and street parties, the wearing of masks, and the eating of rich foods.
Learn more about the traditions of Mardi Gras and visit the Monroe County Museum on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 6:00pm for some family-friendy Mardi Gras Madness full of crafts, activities, and carnival games. There will be a special "King's Chair" photo op area and the first 150 people will receive a free string of beads!
