Old-fashioned and fun, the 87th annual county fair, complete with Midway rides and livestock exhibits, will attract more than 90,000 fair-goers of all ages and interests during its 10-day run. For kids, pig races and a petting farm are highlights. A comic master hypnotist, clowns, family shows, and local talent entertain daily. On weekdays, the fun begins at 5 a.m. and doesn’t shut down until around 11 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday hours are noon to midnight. Adult admission tickets cost $7. Admission price for children ages six to 11 is $4. Children under age six are admitted free. On Wednesday Family Days, admission is two for the price of one.
