Anniversary Dinner and Valentine's Day Dance

Everyone is cordially invited to the Anniversary Potluck Dinner and Valentine's Dance on Saturday, February 9. This is a special occasion for everyone, starting with a traditional Gateway delicious potluck dinner at 5:00, the celebration of our 4 anniversary couples, and ending with a "sweetheart" of a dance with music by the popular Doug Latino from 7:00 to 10:00 pm.

We are pleased to present our 50th Anniversary couple, Jackie & Leroy Phillips, who were married on March 23, 1963; 60th Anniversary couples Leny & Henk Van Dorp and Betty Jo & Bob Harris; and 67th Anniversary couple Millie & Ray Santucci. There will be gift bags for each couple if you wish to bring cards.

The festivities start sharp at 5:00 pm with a toast to our anniversary couples, followed by the buffet dinner. Coffee and a beautiful anniversary cake will be served for dessert, while each couple is introduced and the brides presented with flowers. Even if you don't know the couples, come out and meet and congratulate them on a wonderful life together. Our "official photographers," Pete & Kathy Soehnlen will be taking photos of everyone that evening as a Valentine memento, so have your photo taken with your sweetie, friend, neighbor, or solo.

We ask that you bring a covered dish to share and  your place settings. No desserts are needed as we are having cake. Tickets for the Valentine's Dance are available from Barb Fuelling and Bonnie Sisco for a $5 donation. The seating plan is posted in the Clubhouse so gather your party together and reserve a table. There is room for everyone, so if  you're solo, there's always a place for  you.
