Blast Friday returns with a FREE concert with David Cook along with a bunch of fun activities for the entire family to enjoy! 

Singer-songwriter and American Idol winner David Cook returns to Clearwater on tour in support of his latest album release Digital Vein, which includes the rocking new singleCriminals. With Cook’s powerful voice and dynamic guitar, the new album also includes the singles Broken Windows and Laying Me Low. In 2008, Cook released Light On, which reached #17 on the Billboard Hot 100 single chart. In 2009, Cook’s song, Come Back to Me, was a top 10 hit on the Billboard Adult Top 40 chart. 

Special Guest Tony Lucca will open the show. 

Blast Friday was established in 2009 as downtown Clearwater's free, family-friendly street festival. Supported by the City of Clearwater, the Cleveland Street District and the Downtown Development Board and produced by Ruth Eckerd Hall On The Road.
